building a good epitaph
Here’s a link to today’s reading:
John the Baptist was a “man sent from God.” That is a good epitaph. John knew why he was on earth and he lived a life focused on that mission. He was not distracted by any worldly attraction. Not long after he gave his final testimony about Jesus he was put to death. John truly had only months to live.
Today’s Challenge:
Can you be a “Godsend” this week? What life could you touch that might lead someone to say that you were a person sent from God? Ask God to give you a glimpse of where you are being sent. Read Isaiah 6:1-8. Use those words to tell God that you are ready to go. Continue Reading »
